Today marks a turning point in my writing journey.

In this journey, I've expanded my work and learned what my limitations are. I've tried different methods of writing and editing, given thought to various promotional strategies and I have many more exciting things waiting ahead for me.

The thing is, and I don't have a problem admitting this, it has been difficult for me to keep up with everything I've dipped my feet into, and some of these things have suffered because I just haven't been able to devote enough time to each one.

That's not okay with me, and this is where those three new updates come into play.

The first thing I'm going to highlight is the release of Rebellion in the Valley. I have decided to delay the release date to Wednesday, October 30th - for two reasons.

Reason #1 is because at the last minute, I hit my cover artist with some changes, and although she is amazing, she also has a life besides catering to my every whim (I know - imagine that, right?).

Reason #2 is a bit more excitng than me and my ever-changing mind. On Tuesday, October 29th, I'm scheduled for an interview with Arkansas Authors and will be discussing my new release! In light of the interview, I will be running a free e-book giveaway on release day and what's more ... I will also be giving away one grand prize package of gifts relating to Rebellion in the Valley - valued around $25.00!

The second new update deals with my activity on Twitter. After thinking it over very carefully, I have made the decision to delete my account on September 1st and devote more time to my actual writing; I have been spending two full days a week in scheduling tweets that I find of interest, including writing contests every Wednesday. Very little of my time on Twitter actually relates to advertising of my own work - something I admittedly have always struggled with.

Writing is what I do; it's what I've done for the past 25 years, and I don't forsee a time in the near future that will end my writing journey. In fact, I've got the Valley trilogy in the works (Rebellion in the Valley, Anticipation in the Valley & Renewal in the Valley) as well as several other books. My readers can always check the progress of my book-writing (as well as which books I'm reading) on my website/blog.

And this leads me directly to update #3: Since I will be leaving the Twitter community, at least for a while, I plan to devote more time to my blog and website, Good Reads and Your Book Launch.

Be sure to check my blog by noon on Monday, September 2 for the days I'll be posting to which site.

Anyone wanting to invite me for interviews or projects may always contact me at one of those places or feel free to email me at any time. My email address is posted on the Contact page of my website. And of course, my readers can always leave those reviews for me on Amazon, Good Reads or Smashwords!

Rest assured, I will be writing even more with the extra time on my hands.

I'd like to thank everyone for your ongoing support and understanding as I take one more step in my journey.
